40 of Britain's most iconic women, who have contributed so much to the fashion industry and have closely collaborated with Vogue, are all together in one room to celebrate the legend that is Edward Enninful- editor-in-chief of British Vogue. He was appointed the role of fashion director of British fashion magazine i-D at the age of 18, a position he held for more than two decades. Enninful was appointed editor-in-chief of British Vogue in 2017 but after 6 graceful years, 153 covers and many broken barriers, he has stepped down after a short tenure.

Here is a list of just some of the people Edward managed to get to come to this golden shoot: Simone Ashley, Victoria Beckham, Naomi Campbell, Jodie Comer, Miley Cyrus, Cara Delevingne...

Cynthia Erivo, Gigi Hadid, Maya Jama, Dua Lipa, Kate Moss, Lila Moss, Anya Taylor-Joy, Serena Williams and Oprah.

In an exclusive interview with ITV, when asked how he managed to get 40 of the world's busiest, most successful women all together in one room, at the same time, Edward replied "I personally emailed everyone and I was thinking we might get five or ten and literally everyone said yes. I was so shocked, elated and happy."  This is testament to the level of respect and adoration he holds in the industry.

Enninful's First Cover as Editor-in-Chief; featuring Adwoa Aboah- fashion model and activist

The magazine editor decided to do the unexpected and to not go with what makes the most profit, but to cast a light on issues that are usually left unspoken. This cover was seen as a shock to the system, especially as non-white cover stars had been viewed for so long as 'commercial nonstarters'. Enninful's first cover was a hit and by September of the following year, most magazine covers were featuring women of colour. This is what Enninful does best, he leads, he inspires.

"My 'Vogue' is about being inclusive; it's about diversity. Showing different women, different body shapes, different races, class. To be tackling gender." - Edward Enninful
