Skims have just launched their retro, throwback to the 60's, holiday campaign. The vintage magazine look is reminiscent of classic Lange Ski advertisements in both the styling and the content. Kim gave props to photographer Nadia Lee Cohen for her creative vision.
For winter 2023, Skims is really pulling out all the stops with 15 brand new pieces for their brand new holiday campaign.
Kim's Skate-Style

Kim opted for actual ice skates for her top-half, to further add to that winter feel. She is seen wearing Skims Hotel Shine Short, as part of the Cami Sleep Set, in Frost. The Kardashian went with a 60s-inspired beauty. She channeled the decade's signature makeup look with icy blue eyeshadow and lots of blush to replicate that "cold girl" look. Her blonde hair made a reappearance, volumed to the max- another trademark trend of the era.
Ski-Season

The brand have stuck with the ice rink theme, drawing inspiration from the popular apres-ski trend. In the same photoshoot, Kim swapped her purposely-placed skates for something a bit more suitable for the cold weather.
The Skims founder is seen styled in the SKIMS Cotton Rib Tank Catsuit which she layered over the Cotton Jersey Turtleneck. Both pieces came in the brand's new Santa red shade "Brick", in honour of their holiday campaign. This simple base layer look highlights the potential for a puffer winter coat and ski pants to be layered over the top.
For footwear, she chose chunky crimson ski boots straight out of the '60s, which she aesthetically colour matched with the whole outfit and paired with some dangly red earrings to complete the look.
Kardashian really homed in on the attention to detail for the makeup in this shoot. Here we have even more blush that has been applied to amplify the "rosy cheeks" winter look, along with white under eyes left behind by UV-protected ski googles. The brand have added a certain realism for customers to really see themselves in these pieces, and they can really appreciate the winter aesthetic.
